" You know, I have always known that many envies what I have. Who wouldn't? I mean, not to brag but I am the darling princess of the realm.

Many want to be me. To have a loving family, a prestigious title, and everything that comes with being royalty.

I have it all. People want that. The love, wealth, and power. I have known that for as long as I can remember.

However, I also saw myself as a lamp without its wick. I wasn't sure what I was missing. I mean, I had it all.

Never knowing the meaning of pain since I was shielded from it. You know the thing with lamps, they are extremely eye-catching.

They look pretty to look at. Even so, without the wick to give it a soul, it's soulless. Just a beautiful empty shell.

One that neither feels nor shades light to others' darkness. I only realized that I craved for something I didn't know about.
