“Noah, this is insane!” Ryan freaked out, handing my phone back to me.

Well, tell me something I don’t already know.

I shook my head and focused on the situation. He looked pretty stressed out over the text messages. And why wouldn’t he be? After all, Ivy did what I thought she wouldn’t do. What the fuck was I thinking?

“Why didn’t you tell me? We could’ve solved the situation in much better way. Now look what we’ve gotten ourselves into.” He stood up and started pacing around his living room.

“I’m sorry.” That’s the only thing I could mumble because that’s the only thing left to say. There was no logical excuse behind why I did what I did except the fear of losing Ryan.

“We have to find out a solution now. It’s not the end.” He groaned pulling his hair from the sides of his head.

“Hey… calm down.” I stood up and pulled his hands out of his hair.
