Chapitre 87: Chapter 50 (A)

We made our way back to the office. I didn’t want to agree with what Dad suggested but it was the only way that I could save Ryan by not making mother angry. That too if it worked.

“Sit down, please.” Mr Dunkin said as we sat back to our previous positions.

Ryan was still sitting on the couch on the far end, all alone. I wanted to go to him and hug him tightly and assure him that everything would be alright. That I’ll make it alright but I couldn’t. I knew he would be scared to death and he would be dreading going to jail and risking everything. His name, fame, money, business and respect.

Today, the respect I had for him had increased. Today, I fell in love with him deeper than ever. He did all this, put everything in jeopardy just to save me. He stayed true to his promise.
