Each bubble, each pop, the intensity of the flames, the careful additions at the perfect time, the slight changes in the aroma, and plenty of other minute factors played together in a delicate harmony. The art of alchemy was a conflicting profession. Sometimes the process of creating a potion would be simple and easy, luring in unsuspecting novices for the prospects of 'easy' coin. But even the most basic potion can easily turn sour if not treated with care and dedication.
