She watched them from afar, a scarf wrapped around her hair, sunglasses shading her cool, calculated eyes. She was a woman scorned, contemptuous and cruel. She sipped from her glass of iced tea, and rolled her eyes when she watched Aine laugh. They wouldn't last, she'd see to it. If she couldn't have Bryan, no one else would, she vowed.

"Hello Cedric," Bryan said when he dropped off Aine after her break.
Cedric just looked at him, for a moment, Just looked.
"Will you hurt her?" Aine's jaw dropped open, she was aghast by Cedric's Audacity, Humbled by his bold protectiveness
" I will do my honest best Not to. I'd hurt myself before I try to hurt her." Cedric measured him, measured his words, saw Bryan meant his words. Nodded.
" you're welcome here." he said simply and went to the storage room, where he could hear Branna's voice, to search for boxes.
Aine turned to Bryan and reached for his hand,
"Are you offended?"
" I'm not, I'm happy he worries and cares."
