They came into a large underground area, multiple clones of Tombirama already waiting for them as each of them took a student and moved away, the only one who wasn't taken was Rei and Keko.
"Rei, meet Keko, she will be attending during your training, she is a friend of mine's daughter who specializes in chakra disruption, if at anytime your release goes out of control, she will be right behind you ready to stop it."
Rei nodded to Keko, they already had a small introduction before when they greeted each other, they went to a corner of the large area, a quick look to everyone seen they were all working on things, Kakashi was focusing on his chakra control, Mei doing the same but at a more advanced stage, and Tsunade who already had great control was instead going through what looked to be drilled, most likely so Tobirama could understand what he's working with.
"Alright Rei, whereas you would usually start with control like the others, we need to get your release under at least the minimum amount of control needed, so you will be focusing on that while with me, you can practice chakra control on your off time."
Jokes on you mister Hokage, I've already spent almost 19 hours in a personal realm focusing on building my control over this since you saw me with multiple shadow clones.
Rei shook his head before he channeled his release without the need for signs, and from his poach of practice kunai, four floated into the air and pointed towards the Hokage, all looking ready to strike.
Tobirama didn't show any outward signs, but mentally he was cracking, this kid was to good.
"You've already gained control?"
"I found the trick shortly after you left actually, it requires more mental awareness then it does anything more really, earlier I was simply fueling chakra to make it happen, but now it's more so, as long as I am using it, I need to be aware of what the objects I wish to move, and how I am moving them, like multiple arms. Now, I can focus on just four objects about the size of a kunai, if I use senbons I can do ten, anything else as long as it doesn't leave my sight or sensory range, I can move it freely, my max load seems to be around 400 pounds before it feels like I'm straining and it starts hurting."
Tobirama gave a nod. "Then, if your focus is this good, let's instead focus on teaching you chakra control, and elemental release control, get these two things down first and every jutsu will be much easier to learn."
They started with the leaf sticking exercise much like Kakashi was doing. Actually a lot harder than it looks, but Rei could do six leaves at a time, and hold them for thirty minutes. Tobirama said he considered it mastered once he could hold ten leaves for an hour, so that is what they worked on the whole day. It wasn't until he was dismissed, the Tobirama got another shock when Rei suddenly popped and burst into smoke.
"That brat, he was a shadow clone the entire time?!''

Enjoying his fourth bowl of noodles from a stall that wasn't the famous one, Rei got the memories of both clones at once, and he took them in stride, it seemed his experiment worked, he could hold two clones for half a day and unsummon them easily enough, he needed to find out the exact amount he could have, and how long before the memory overload hit him.
Rei himself had been focusing on chakra enhancing his body, seeing the exact limits of it, and how it worked, which has quite easy, but without control and training it was wasteful, with the memories of theoretical knowledge from one clone that attended the academy, and the clone who trained in chakra control, he was sure that if he went at it again, it'd be much better.
He was also studying the gates and how exactly they worked, and their application to him personally. He didn't open any of them, the earliest he planned to begin opening them was when he was six, which would give him two years to find out anything that may go wrong, as well as find out anything that may go strange due to his own evolution skill.
He had been eating so much simply because he noticed that the moment his chakra became a more active thing in his life than it had been, he felt much hungrier than usual. It was explained to him by the stall owner because chakra energy is a mix of physical, and spiritual, once you unlock it properly, you will start needing more physical energy.
Which, with his saved up money? He didn't care about the new expense, his most expensive thing actually was introducing more metals, herbs, spices, anything that was natural to his world, some things went for an arm and a leg, but thankfully he learned that even just 'Scrap' metal would do what he needed to, so soon his world would also start producing other metals, which would allow him to focus more on smithing then he has right now, and. Once his skill becomes of a level he's okay with, he could start selling his crafts under a moniker which he has yet to decide on what he wishes to call himself. If he'd call himself anything, depending on how long he can hold a shadow clone, he may just make a whole new identity to become a smith or something.
