Chapitre 61: Can We Get Back Together Again?

Luke lowered his head looking at Freya and frowned slightly.

He spoke in a gentle tone without taking it to heart. "What's wrong?"

Freya automatically raised her head and looked up when she heard a familiar voice coming from overhead. The moment she realized it was Luke, she paused briefly before she said, "What are you doing here?"

Luke noticed Freya's eyes were swollen. Also, she looked very haggard. He frowned even harder. "Did you cry last night?"

Freya said nothing and simply walked away.

Luke pulled her by the wrist. He stepped forward and stood in front of Freya and said jokingly, "Were you unable to sleep last night? Did you even stop to check yourself out in the mirror before leaving the house?"

"It's none of your business," replied Freya as she tried to fling his hand aside.

Luke was never a pushy man. Moreover, Freya was his ex-girlfriend. He quickly let go of her without putting up a fight.
