Gideon stood up, giving off an imposing aura. He raised his hands to straighten his tie before he uttered three words, "You are fired."

Freya frowned. She was jolted by the news and became anxious. "Since when?"

The man remained completely unperturbed. "A second ago."

Freya said exasperatedly, "How could you…"

"Now do you have time to take culinary classes? Find yourself a good school. I don't want to catch you cooking at the same level you're at now, after a month's time."

The moment Gideon finished his sentence, he turned to leave the dining hall.

Freya went running after him without hesitation. Since the man was tall and had very long legs, he walked at a quick pace.

She had to run before she barely made it in front of him and stopped him in his path.

Gideon glanced at her in annoyance.

"How could you do that?"

"Don't you know?"
