Chapitre 2: Business is now in session!
I was moving boxes containing dishes and other fragile items from the front to the storage in the kitchen area and Kyorise opened the boxes and stocked the dishes. I picked up the box containing plastic cups that were used for people who wanted to have their beverage to go and not stay for long. Miki was sweeping the floor and Momo cleaned the tables while Suki cleaned the windows. I set the box down beside Kyorise and dusted my hands off.
"Thank you Onii-sama." Kyorise looked at me and smiled.
"No problem. That's the last box and we have a 3 year's worth supply of to go items." I nodded.
"Mhm! I can't wait to finally open shop back up. This cafe is important to me." Kyorise looked around.
"Mom did outdo herself when she created this shop. I wonder how Sumiko is doing. Hopefully she isn't suffering." I chuckled.
"Mom is a careful lady, Sumiko is probably doing fine." Kyorise smiled. "Besides you haven't told me where did you find these two catgirls and Suki."
"Where else would I find them? I bought them." I said.
"Eh?" Kyorise looked at me.
"No I'm joking. All three were abandoned by their original owners. I didn't find all three at the same time though. I found Miki first while I was on my jog. She was beside a dumpster and barely scavenging by for food. I took her in and fed her and everything else." I said.
"Where did this Master thing come from then? You have some Master/Maid kink?" Kyorise asked.
"Honestly I don't know where the master thing came from. I didn't ask to be called their Master, I guess it's just in their instinct. I mean I am technically their "owner"." I shrugged.
"What about Momo and Suki?" Kyorise stocked the plastic cup and listened.
"Found them both at the same time. They were wondering in the streets, begging for food. No one gave them any so I decided to feed them and they kinda just followed me home." I said. "When I noticed, I just decided to take them in."
"You are a very kind individual." Kyorise giggled then stood up. "Not the average human would think of taking care of two nekos and a wolf girl."
"Yeah...I know. I have high tolerance. You don't know how hostile the two catgirls can get. I didn't know cats could be as territorial as dogs, but now I know." I placed my hands on the back of my head and closed my eyes.
Suki began howling in her monotone voice and I opened my eyes and decided to check and see what was wrong. I walked towards Suki and saw her tail wagging as she was looking at another girl who had her hands against the window. She had a cat tail and meowed at Suki.
"Another stray..?" I asked myself. "Where are these strays coming from?"
"Master, she's a spy! Don't trust her! Master!" Suki held her hand out towards me.
"Calm down, such a kid." I sighed and walked outside then looked at the brown furred cat girl.
She looked at me and smiled. I noticed a collar around her neck and crouched down, gently holding the tag in my hand and read the name.
"Kana." I said.
"Rawr!~" Kana said and tried to scare me.
"Hm?" I looked at her unfazed.
"Oh no...he's powerful! An alpha maybe? Entering Mega Mode! Psspsspss bwoom!" Kana did some random power ranger stance.
"What- I'm not even gonna ask.." I said and stood up. "Come inside, I don't know how long you've been there."
I went to open the door and Kana looked at me happily and ran inside. Kana looked around and her tail swayed. Suki stomped her feet down one by one.
"You let the spy in, Master?! Do you wish to die?!" Suki asked.
"She's not a spy..she's just someone who needs a home. Our house if big enough to fit 15 people anyway so why not...Her name is Kana." I looked at Suki.
"Meowster! I finished all of my tasks!"
Miki said happily and saluted towards me.
"Ahh, good job Miki." I looked at her and smiled.
"Praise me, praise me, praise me, praise me!" Miki hopped up and down, excitedly.
"Okay okay..Miki-"
"Out of the way tits! Meowster, I did my tasks too! I wanna be praised also!" Momo said and bumped Miki to the side using her hip.
"Uhhh..." I looked at Momo.
"What's the meaning of this, bushy tail!" Miki scowled at Momo.
"Simple, I deserve more praise than you! I cleaned the tables until they were squeaky clean and you can see your own reflection. I have way more technique than you, big tits!" Momo folded her arms.
"Oh yeah yeah, we're gonna act like you weren't walking as slow as a turtle when cleaning! Your legs were practically shaking you clumsy bushy tailed catgirl! Humph!" Miki thumped her foot down.
"This again..?" I sighed. "Can you two like not fight every chance you get..?"
"Meowster, I do so much more for you than her, Nya!~ I want more praise!~" Miki whined and meowed.
"I just want a raise.." Suki said.
We looked at Suki and she looked at us with her natural bored face. She shrugged and began cleaning the windows more.
"Like I was saying, I want more praise from Master! I deserve it too, nya!" Momo whined.
"Let's make a deal, if you two can stop arguing I'll feed you both A-5 meat and praise you both as much as you want." I said.
"A-Ahhh..A-5 m-meat?!" Miki said surprised.
"Meat that comes from the Heavens?!" Momo began drooling.
"Now hold your horses Onii-sama. Why specifically A-5 meat?" Kyorise asked.
"Is there an issue?" I asked.
"Well no, but that's some high quality meat and hard to find." Kyorise said.
"My friend owns a meat parlor, I'll just buy some from her." I shrugged.
"Meat and praises from Master..! Alright bushy tail! I call truce!" Miki held her hand out.
"Mhm mhm! Me too tits!" Momo shook Miki's hand.
"Master?" Kana tilted her head.
"Oh they're referring to me. My name is Yonori. I'm the owner of this cafe." I said.
"Kana is hungry! Can I get some fish?" Kana looked at me. Her pupils were huge as her desire for fish was high.
"I'll have to buy some. For now I have some milk you can have." I said.
Milk to catgirls was like alcohol to humans. As I suggested milk Kana, Miki, and Momo's eyes grew wide. I walked behind the counter and grabbed three cups and went to the back to get some fresh milk for them then poured an equal amount in all three cups. I called them over and handed them their up of milk. They happily took the cup and began drinking. I put the milk back then grabbed something and walked towards Suki and pet her then handed her some meat. Suki took it and blushed a bit.
"We did have cake and sweets, but we wanna make sure the customers could have their share first. Whatever we have left over, I'll share with you all." I smiled.
"Master..." Suki looked at me.
I chuckled and scratched behind her ear then she began wagging her tail quickly and blushed more. I walked towards the sign and turned it around to where it said open for the people passing by could see. Business was now officially back open. Kyorise smiled and waited for the customers to come in. The girls finished their milk and Suki finished eating then they were ready to work...well besides Kana since I didn't have a job for her. I walked towards her and crouched down.
"Do you wanna help around here?" I asked.
"What do I need to do?" Kana tilted her head.
"I can use some help handing out fliers to the people. Wanna help with that?" I smiled.
"Mhm! I wanna help!" Kana smiled brightly at me.
"Great." I chuckled and ruffled her hair.
