Chapitre 2: Blaze Hunt. That's Me!
My name is Blaze Hunt. Today I become 15! Once you hit 15, you become a warrior. You get to choose a weapon for yourself. But how could I tell my father that I did not want to be a warrior? I just wanted a simple life. But life in Darknor is never simple.
I got up from my bed. It was 7:30 am. (Okay fine, we stole the idea of time from Earth.) To be honest, I live in a palace. All Darknorians have a palace as their home. There is no such thing as a bungalow. Buildings can be found but they are not residential. My palace has two floors. I live on the 2nd one.
My father, Albert Hunt, entered the room. As usual, he gave me a bright smile. He looked tall and handsome. I have not seen him getting angry very often. Not knowing whether to be happy or sad, I smiled back. "Son, happy birthday! You finally are ready to become a warrior! Do your daily chores quickly. We will go to Adonis to get you a weapon. Meet me at 10." He said and went away.
My father was very happy that I could become a warrior now. And if you are wondering who Adonis is…. He used to be the one of the greatest warrior of his time. But nothing is permanent. He became quite old and lost his skills. Now he is a man who makes weapons for children who are ready to turn into warriors. He is said to make the best weapons out there.
Finishing my daily chores, I came down to meet my eager father. He looked at me with excitement. "Let's go son!" He said. We both walked together to Adonis's Workshop. It is just a five minutes' walk from my home.
We reached there and saw two boys already standing there. I knew one of them. On my right was my friend, Oliver Jones. We play together all the time. His birthdate is same as mine. He was happy to find me. "Hey Blaze. How's it going?" He asked. I just smiled. "I am so excited to get my weapon!" He exclaimed. He sure looked hype. But I wasn't. Just then, Adonis came out. He looked at me and said, "Aren't you Blaze, son of Albert?"
