Chapitre 336: Chapter 333: Mind in chaos VII

Serena groggily opened her eyes. She does not know how long she was asleep for but through the open curtains in their drawing room, she could see that it was almost sunset. As she shifted, she felt the unevenness of her pillow. Belatedly, she realized that her head was still lying on Geoffrey's lap. More alert, she quickly rose to a sitting position.

She turned to face him to apologize but saw that his eyes were closed. Was he unconscious? She scooted closer. As she took closer inspection, she took note of his dark ebony hair in direct contrast to his pale skin, his thin red lips, high cheek bones, high bridged nose, and smooth skin. She knew that Geoffrey was handsome, but never has she taken the time to appreciate it. 

Geoffrey could feel Serena staring at him and he wondered what was she thinking of? When she did not do anything other than stare, he placed his hand at the back of her head to pull her in for a kiss. 

Serena pushed away to cover her mouth.
