I said causing Alex's breath to hitch. She was tense, her eyes wandered around as she got lost in her thoughts.

I called out snapping my fingers before her face.

That seemed to bring her out of her reverie.

She whispered to herself.

What is she talking about?

I asked her, finally getting her attention.

"Sorry?"

She said forcing a smile.

"Alex..what has gotten into you? Ever since the orb was inside your head, you've been acting weird. Are you okay?"

I gave her a blank look and she rolled her eyes.
