While she did think this, she still had to admit that the results were well worth the pain she had to go through. She did feel many times stronger after reaching the peak of stage twelve of body fortification.

Kana made her way through the forest, not stopping for the rank one demonic beasts that she passed. Most ignored her or quickly ran away when they sensed her rank two beast core. It was not until she traveled for half a day did she finally run into a higher ranked demonic beast.
