I turned towards Carlo. My eyes widened. His hand! His hand is bleeding! He punched the lampshade with his bare hands. Crashing it to pieces on the floor. And the remaining light from the room died out. 

"Car..." I tried to stand up. To go to him. 

"Erin, can you hear yourself talking now?" He cut off my call. His cold voice halted me from moving. "You tell me that if you will do something that will be against your principle, I should stop you right?" He said. His voice sounded serious and chilly. Although, I couldn't see his expression.  I could feel in his voice, the seething anger from his tone. Stop me? But what will he stop me from? When I couldn't do anything in the first place. Grandpaps became like that and I couldn't stop it. Is he angry? So do I! I'm freaking mad right now.
