Chapitre 30: Denatus
Lumas was finally allowed back on the front line a WHOLE 2 floors later, He didn't recklessly charge forth and helped hold the line with the others, Ais who was taking a break was enjoying a cup of tea from Susan Ais even had a (smug) smile.
The majority of the monsters consisted of BugBears; An undead bear with bugs swarming the rotten flesh, Battle Boars; a boat like creature with thick armor-like plates of keratin, Lizardmen; A lizard that's humanoid, shows a degree of intelligence and armed with dungeon made spears/axes/maces, Firebird; a rather rare creature, looks like a chicken caught on fire… runs on sight, Vouivre; a female humanoid dragon creature with slight blue skin and long red nails, a red stone is placed in their forehead
There was more but Lumas was currently more focused on killing then remembering their species… he was slightly surprised to see an undead monster in the dungeon but it's a dungeon it lives to kill… As Lumas dragged Shadowsteel through a lizardman's torso easily bisecting it he whipped around parrying a vouire's slash, pointing with his finger a ball of condensed mana shot out piercing the Magic stone causing the vouire to explode into reddish-black dust ducking under a club he slammed his Will onto the lizardman as it froze he brought Shadowsteel up from the ground taking a leg from the monster
Before he could finish it off he had to jump back due to a battle boars charge, its tusk caught his cloak and dragged him a few feet before Lumas unlatched the clip(?) holding the hood and cloak to the chest piece, as he rolled to his feet he launched off the ground thrusting his sword forward finishing off the crippled lizardman, Just as he was about to return to the battle he had to lean back dodging a stray swing of the sword
"AYE, Watch it! I'm working here" muttering the last part Lumas stopped paying the guy attention, his eyes landed on a Mammoth Fool, and he couldn't help but smile… how couldn't he it's the strongest monster of this floor, but its main weakness is its mobility due to its size, Damn things nearly 8 meters tall
As a brackish green flame traveled up the spine of Shadowsteel pouring mana in at the fastest rate he could, the blade seemed to hum with excitement as he kicked off the ground, as he neared the mammoth fool the flames on the spine of the blade brightened as they shrunk alongside the distinct sound of a hammer hitting hot metal, just as the blade approached the mammoth fools hide the flames exploded sending Lumas into a spiral
As Lumas whirled around inflicting many deep cuts into the side of Mammoth Fool causing it to collapse on one of its legs, it swung its head smacking Lumas with a tusk flinging him into a group of monsters, coughing up a mouthful of blood from the impact Lumas looked around to catch his bearings, seeing that the frontline wasn't too far behind he charged toward the Mammoth Fool who snorted causing steam to escape its trunk

Loki had a migraine… no migraine was an understatement… The denatus as always was a clusterfuck of godly beings trying to climb up the ranks… It hasn't even started yet, mainly due to a certain conniving goddess wanting to make an entrance, Loki had to stop herself from rolling her eyes as she turned to Hephaestus
"So, Hephaestus, how are you doing?" Loki lounged back in the unreasonably comfy seats as she sipped on a juice box Susan gave her
"Hmm alright, Been feeling weird as of recently… I've had to let Tsubaki handle the funds, It seems I can't enter a shop without wasting a whole day and buying everything even remotely cute.." Hephaestus had a heavy pout as she spoke, the majority of the gods were surprised to see that the goddess of the smith has begun to grow her hair out, she hasn't taken off her eyepatch merely because of the issues it would cause if it was revealed that such a curse was broken
As the duo sat away from others they gained a fair amount of looks, Some of the gods that were previously chasing some of the more… well endowed goddess' took a liking to Loki's new figure (thanks to the charm), some even dared to whisper that her figure was comparable to Freya, Hephaestus snickered as she heard the whispers about Loki, but Loki's laughter soon shut her up as she looked around to find many of the more 'active' gods eyeing her like she was something interesting… something she wasn't used to, it was vastly different then the sneers she has grown used to over the last few million years
She had to fight back a blush due to embarrassment, but luckily the entrance of Freya pulled everyone's attention away allowing her to calm herself, Following closely behind Freya was Ouranos, Every god present was shocked to see Ouranos away from the Seal
"Ouranos, Have you gone mad?! What if the seal collapses?! -" Some unimportant god shot up from his seat as he yelled, Many of the gods present where thinking the same thing, with a heavy sigh Ouranos took his seat across from the gods. Once he got comfortable he spoke while staring at Loki
"There are many things to bring up… As for my place next to the seal, it's unnecessary the seal is now capable of powering itself… Moving into more pressing matters… Loki, would you mind informing the others of the newest additions to your Familias ranks"
Loki tilted her head in confusion "Ouranos, I believe you are mistaken. I haven't taken any new members in, You've already sent your goons to figure that out"
Ouranos sneered as a pressure slowly expanded from his body "Lumas, Susan, Sebas… Do these names not ring a bell" the pressure emitting from Ouranos was heavy, only a few gods/goddesses were able to think under such pressure, Loki being one of them thanks to exposure to Lumas' Flames
"Do I need to repeat myself? They are under Umr At-Tamil, If you continue pressing this matter I will have to search for compensation for slandering my name…"
Unknowingly a pressure left Loki as she spoke, while inferior to Ouranos' it held its weight against the paranoid god, However a few gods flinched at Umr At-Tamils name those who have descended in the time of chaos knew… He was the first god to be killed, and the only god to never return to the heavens
