Chapitre 43: Protect you

"Mr. Gil Youngjae, I'm Detective U Haewon, can you please step outside of the vehicle with Ms. Han Soojin?"

The officer asked with a firm tone which made her heart race faster. Her hands began to sweat as she recalled the men who approached them at the parking lot.

"Don't worry, Soojin. You can tell them what happened last night."

Youngjae consoled her after noticing her hesitation to follow the officer outside of the vehicle.  Her hand began to jitter uncontrollably while they stood in front of the investigator.

"Can you question us at the precinct Detective U rather than out here in the open?"

"Why Mr. Gil? Afraid to be seen talking to an officer of the law?"

The investigator answered to mock Youngjae. She didn't know if Detective U was accusing him of anything but from the sound of the officer's voice, the detective knew something more about Youngjae than her.

"I'm not afraid. I got nothing to hide."
