Hades III summoned eighteen-year-old Ezzo Raffetto to his secret basement about fourteen years ago.

Ezzo didn't look surprised or confused when Hades III brought him. In fact, the boy seemed to recognize the maze-like path inside this basement.

Not long after they entered a room, Ezzo could see two people in white robes and masks were standing as if they were expecting them.

Ezzo entered the room, wondering why these two doctors were in a place like this. He also noticed a large injection along with a vial of clear liquid.

What liquid is that?

"Have you heard of the loyalty serum from your mentor?" Hades asked Ezzo when he noticed the boy curiously looking at the clear liquid bottle.

"I've heard of it. He said, once the serum is injected into a person's body, that person can never betray his master."

"That's right. And I plan to put it in yours."

"Me? Why? Am I going to be made a hidden protector?"
