Watson pulled a contract from under the table and handed it to Lophis. He smiled as if he had known Lophis would make that decision.

Lophis took a deep breath and dipped a pen in ink from the side of the table. He wrote his name on the contract. He did not even read the contract's contents carefully because he felt it was unnecessary.

Initially, he had wanted Vermillion Town to become Mount Creation's partner instead of a subordinate town. On the one hand, it was due to Adele's absence. On the other hand, he did not want Vermillion Town to be inferior to the other towns. However, once he had seen Mount Creation's power, he knew that they had outclassed Vermillion Town several times fold.
