There were eight tentacle-like things that had suddenly grown out of the child's back. They were bright red in color and at the edge of each tentacle was a piercing sharp metal tooth-like thing.
Fu Jie didn't even have enough time to gulp as the eight tentacles attacked him at once, all aiming for his heart.
Fu Jie tried to jump back but the tentacles were a bit too fast for him and he immediately knew that he wasn't going to make it.
He took a sharp breath in as he closed his eyes and waited for the sharp metal tooth to pierce through his heart but a minute passed and although he heard some slashing sounds, he felt nothing wrong with his body. There was no pain...
Fu Jie's eyes went wide open as he tried to understand what had happened.
"You..." Fu Jie muttered in shock as he looked at the boy that had saved him, "Tang An...?"
