Chapitre 67: Drum Kingdom
As they sail closer to Drum Kingdom, Alex has thought about the three who will leave the ship to help support his plans. Alex has now locked himself in his room and the moment he closed the door the outgoing Alex has vanished and has now turned into a meticulous and calculating Alex.
'I need Laffitte, Monet, and Sugar to quickly make their spy network so that I would not miss any information that circulates in the sea. I probably should tell them to put spies everywhere especially in the Marines, World Government, and the Revolutionary Army so that I know all their moves. This would put me at an advantage since I am probably always two steps ahead of them. The Giants would form a division in the near future because they accepted the duel and were 'defeated' by me. Cierra's Chamber of Commerce would likely need a lot of manpower and time in order for it to contend with the other groups in the Underworld. Dante and Katarina's Restaurants and Bars would also need time to expand and also need the spy network to be integrated so everything would go smoothly.' thought Alex as his brain was working as hard as it can to make sure there are no problems with his plans.
'I should also expand my crew and get more loyal subordinates who would lead a division in the future. Maybe get some loyal slaves after I raid some auctions anonymously so that I don't draw too much attention because I currently am in the radar of a lot of people. I better start grabbing some territory from other pirate crews that don't sail under the flag of Whitbeard, Big Mom, or Kaido. I don't want any conflict with those three especially Big Mom and Kaido. Whitbeard seems like a reasonable pirate so maybe I will forge a good relationship with him and his crew.' Alex continued formulating his plans for the future and did not realize that he had been thinking and planning for hours already. Franco, who knew about Alex's tendency to overthink, knocked on his captain's door to tell him to cool down first and rest.
Alex heard the knock and was then awoken from his 'planning' trance and went back to being his outgoing and cheerful side. Then the went to train and interact with the crew before they dock in Drum Kingdom which they will reach in a few days.
(Franco POV)
'I guess Alex is finally formulating his plan of turning the world upside down now. Only I know that behind Alex's outgoing personality hides a very meticulous and calculating persona which helps him keep one step ahead of his opponents.' I thought as I saw what was in Alex's room.
There were a lot of papers that contained possible crewmembers or possible raid locations. There were also our bounties and other notable people's bounties such as Whitebeard's bounty and Kaido's bounty. He also takes note of some bounty hunters that could be recruited for some organization under him. 'What is he planning? Does he want to control the world from the shadows. Then him being a pirate would just be an act? I will have to ask Captain about this in time. Or maybe he will tell us his plans at the right time when he has finalized what he wants to do in the future.'
(3rd POV)
After Franco's visit to Alex's room, the crew finally made it to Drum Kingdom, and they saw a freezing island with mountains and there were also people who were very welcoming of them even though they were pirates. The crew was shocked and was a bit on guard because of what happened in Whiskey Peak so they were not going to let their guards down because of their hospitality.
"Keep your guards up. They might look hospitable but they probably have ulterior motives." said Alex as he did not want another Whiskey Peak incident. The crew nodded as they walked towards the people in the island.
"Welcome to Drum Kingdom!" said the inhabitants of the island as the crew nodded and said thanks to them.
'Are they really that hospitable or do they not see as a threat to their island?' thought Alex as he looked at the villagers who were greeting them. The crew also greeted the villagers as they received their warm welcome.
"Law, go with the twins and try to learn about why Drum Kingdom is famous for their doctors. Try to exchange some information with them or methods so that you can update the notes given to you by Crocus. His notes might be outdated since he has stayed with the while for quite some time now. Have the twins try to check out their equipment and try to copy them in their notebooks so that they could upgrade it and place it in their lab in the ship." said Alex as he told the group of three to get all of the Kingdom's information as it cold save their lives one day.
Alex also told the group to check out the island because they would be staying there for a week. Alex did not want any information unsaid since they could die if they are not informed properly or if they miss something in front of them.
'Alright, time to check out where the King of this Kingdom resides. Since this is a place where doctors are abundant, it can be a nice starting territory for our Asura Pirates.' thought Alex as he started looking for the King on the island.
"Franco and Robin, come with me. We will try to strike a deal with the King here so that we can have our starting territory and base in Paradise." said Alex as Franco and Robin followed him around while remaining vigilant for hostile forces.
While the other crew members were given permission by Alex to try and get familiar with the island as they might find something interesting like relics or retired doctors who they can learn first aid from since Law cannot be beside all of them to heal them all the time. Katarina and Dante try to learn from the people who have diners and restaurants, while Cierra learned how to run a proper business and a chamber of commerce from the traders who are currently on the island selling their goods for some medicine produce by the doctors on the island. (A/N: This was when Drum Kingdom was a lively place before the time of Wapol. So, there were still traders and doctors on the island.)

ImStar0710 My novel will still follow the canon timeline, but since my OCs would be added there are more things that would change in the One Piece World. This novel is just a product of my ideas that I got while I was reading about One Piece.
