Chapitre 160: I Hope You're Right

After Mel left, Eden barely managed to hold it together. This could go very, very badly. She didn't get the chance to talk to Jonah about it until the end of the night when they were in bed though. Somehow she managed to keep her composure while hanging out with her brother and future sister-in-law before then. 

"What are we supposed to do?" she hissed. "I'd rather not see Ezra kill you."

Jonah sighed. "Not much we can do except hope we get through it unscathed. I did text my aunt asking her not to say anything about how or when we met with a bogus excuse that you were embarrassed about being involved in online dating and only told your brother about me when we met in person. She seemed to buy it for now but…"

"Did you have to throw me under the bus like that? Now she's going to think I'm shallow!"
