"This is it kid, The Rosemary Inn," Marcus said as he carried his belongings through the entrance of the multi-level building.
Surprisingly, just like he had imagined, the Inn had dozen nearly a dozen tables stretching across the floor. Most tables were full of loud men and women drinking alcohol and celebrating another day of life with their colleagues. Others were eating alone slowly, the exhaustion in their face extremely noticeable as they sleepily eat their food not minding the loud atmosphere of the room.
Walking with the old man to the back of the room, Kameron was stopped before a counter. There a woman looked up from the book she was writing in and greeted the duo.
"Marcus! Welcome back, were you planning to stay here tonight?" The woman asked with a low but gentle voice.
"Vanessa! I plan to get a meal and stay for the night, I was also guiding this young lad here. He sold me some rabbits so I can make some money tomorrow."
"I understand, the rate is still 2 silver a night and 3 for a night and food." The woman said while looking at the young boy across the counter.
Kameron, just observing the people sitting around sharing stories and drinking, was completely in his own world. That was until he was tapped on the shoulder.
"Hmm?" He turned his attention back to the old man that had tapped him.
"Are you listening? She wants to know your name if you are staying" Marcus said as he looked back at the woman.
"Ohh, my name is Kameron. Nice to meet you." He said as he looked towards the woman behind the counter.
Vanessa, a woman with brown hair, a beautiful face, and a smile to warm the heart, wrote down his name in a giant book.
"A room for the night costs two silver. If you would like to eat please take a seat and wait for someone to come and take your order." She said as she looked back at the young man. "He has such nice eyes..." she commented in her mind before accepting the payment of 3 coins from both people.
Pulling the mesmerized Kameron along, the duo saw at an open table off the left of the room close to a stairway leading to the upper floors of the building where the rooms were located.
"She was very nice," Kameron commented in his head as he started to ask Marcus some things about the world he had been reborn in.
This world has four continents, the north, east, south, and west continents. The continent they were currently in was the east continent.
There are 2 Kingdoms in the eastern continent, The Human Kingdom and The Demon Kingdom, Ruled by the Ackerman Family And Demon King respectively.
In the human kingdom, there are six major cities or towns around the territory ruled by the dukes of the kingdom. The city they were currently in was called Karia. It is closest to the border separating the two kingdoms.
In the East of the continent is the Human Kingdom. In the West is the Demon Kingdom. In the far north, neither side has taken control of the area due to the weather and appearances of a frost dragon.
While in the middle and south the armies of both kingdoms both fight for supremacy. The southern area of the continent is connected mostly flat grassland and is mostly the skirmish zone for the war that had been going on for 3000 years.
"The south huh?" Kameron listened and made a mental note with Ina to scout that area as a possible place for his kingdom.
"Kid, are you listening? The south is extremely dangerous! The two armies are constantly at odds with each other and the south is their playground! Don't go there unless you are strong enough to defend yourself." Marcus told him as he continued explaining some things about the world.
Demi-humans exist in the world as well. They had lost their kingdom to the demons when they mysteriously appeared 10,000 years ago and came to the human kingdom as immigrants eventually living like any other human. There were people with the traits of cats, bunnies, dragons, serpents, and many other types of beasts comprising the Demi-human race.
"Speaking of that, Hello Mia, how are you doing this evening?" Marcus said as he turned his head to the young girl that had walked over to the table.
"I'm doing fine tonight Mr. Marcus. What can I get for you?" Smiling brightly at the old man, the girl, Mia committed it to memory. Turning her head, she was prepared to ask what the young man wanted to eat but was quiet for a few seconds as she found him staring at her cat ears.
Kameron, who was caught looking at the girl's cat ears, was embarrassed as he coughed and asked for whatever was most popular.
(This is why you don't stare weirdo)
"I didn't think I would see a cat girl right after learning about them!"
Truth be told, Kameron has liked cat girls since back in his previous life. He sometimes fantasized about meeting one but now that he did, he didn't know how to act, causing the awkward situation.
Mia slightly bowed to the duo and walked towards the kitchen, which was beside the counter against the back of the room. Kameron, still curious about the first catgirl he had seen, watched her tail sway with every step she took.
After the meal, Kameron and Marcus went to their separate rooms on the second floor. Kameron was unable to talk much to Mia at all, as she was busy helping bring food and drinks to other diners.
Finally entering his room, Kameron collapsed in exhaustion on the bed. "Finally... I can relax..."
(You can but you should do your gacha summons first.)
"Huh, why?" He asked while sitting up tiredly while looking at the elementals that had climbed onto the bed. Shockingly, the tiny fire wolf didn't burn anything it touched.
(You might get something to help you plan for tomorrow)
"Fine, I'll do it..."
As he opened the system menu he saw the Class system and Evolution system highlighted in a golden color.
(Focus on the gacha right now. You can pick your class after but if you evolve it will probably make you a beacon of demonic energy)
Wiping away the invisible sweat on his forehead, he licked the gacha option and selected the x10 normal ticket draw.
As the wheel started spinning it created a golden flame around it before sparks of rainbow changed the flames into a rainbow color before 10 orbs were shot out of the side of the wheel before it disappeared. There were 6 white color orbs,1 blue orb, 2 golden orbs, and 1 rainbow-colored floating in the middle of the room.
"I got another rainbow orb? I assume it's because of the rainbow flames that appeared." Yawning he reached his hand out to the closest orb before pulling it back. He was too tired to open each reward individually he asked Ina a simple question.
"Ina, can you open all 10 at the same time?"
(I can, would you like me to this time?)
"I would, also could you do it for the future pulls as well?"
(Sure...)
As she agreed to his request all 10 orbs opened at the same time.
