To know and understand are two, different things. It is a fact that some were not, are not, and unfortunately never been taught. To know it to be aware. To understand is to grasp why. Gain reasoning, and information. He may tell you one thing. She may tell you another. The smallest disputes to the biggest wars escalate because no one is willing to listen. Listen to the why.
I get up each day, greeted by the lovely light of the Sun. I clean, I eat, I help, I move. And then, I stop. Stop to be still, at peace, and quietly ask myself ...how can it happen over and over again? The same routine, the same issues, the same push back for every effort meant to be good. What am I doing wrong? Why do I keep doing wrong?
...
Is my birth something that has always meant to be wrong?
To know and understand are two, different things. I get up each day, greeted by the Sun's warm light. But, I wake up to Someone beyond the means of this world. He keeps us safe. He keeps us alive. He knows why we are the way that we are. Childhoods, households, inner demons, etc. Wounds do not heal overnight. Bad habits are not broken by one, single action. Knowing can come in seconds. Understanding takes patient time. So now, I walk through the life and retire at night. Having two, different things in mind.
Sometimes, we do the exact same things that we should or shouldn't be doing. And sometimes, we run into the same problems as we did before without any context. Without grasping the full picture. Only God knows everything. Only He can fully say and show the reason why anything happens. Or, why we still feel the same way as we did the year before. With time, we shall know. With time, we shall grow. Even if we do not become aware of everything, we become knowledgeable in what we should know and fix what needs to be fixed. Life is one, big book of lessons. Lessons we all need to survive, thrive, and truly be alive.
