Did I forget the fill out something for this to happen? I must have if I'm not getting a Pokémon. Am I going to have wait a year. No, I can't Team Mafia is still out there. Being delayed by even a year would mean bad news to the world.
Oak frowns," Well right now Kanto is in the middle of a crisis. The Pokémon breeders that provide with the regular starter Pokémon have all been broken into. All the Pokémon in every breeding center private and public are empty right now. I was forced I mean told to give the regular three starters to the overall top three scorers in Kanto instead of the top three of every Kanto city and town. That is why the Pokémon League makes every trainer sign a form detailing a substitute Pokémon they would like to have if the regular three starters are not available."
Hiro comes up hind Oak and hands him two Pokéballs. Each with a different letter marked into it. I forgot the language is using the Unkown as the alphabet. Henry looks worriedly at me. His mask a confused mixed with sad emoji. Charles just smirks with his dead fisheyes looking at me in happiness.
"Jasper you are a great kid who watches Gary occasionally. I would give you a Pokémon, but you didn't fill out the proper forms. There is nothing I can right now to help. Unless you have a newly hatched Pokémon on hand, I can't legally do anything without the League's permission."
"Wait I have an Eevee. I can use Eevee as my starter." I show Oak Eevee. Eevee puffs out its chest in pride. Probably happy it's not being replaced as my official starter.
Oak looks at Eevee," Fascinating an Eevee with Unknown markings on it. Reminds me of some Pokémon in the past but I can't remember which one." He gets closer looking at Eevee's fur.
I wonder what he means by that. Is there another Pokémon with the same markings as Eevee out there. It would be so cool to find it someday.
"Yes, you can use Eevee as your starter. Now here is a Pokéball to catch Eevee with. A Pokédex to record your data along your journey. And the most important thing is the mission the Pokémon League is giving every trainer. To capture as many Pokémon as possible and to send them me. I will ask you if you want to keep or give the Pokémon to the breeders to help with next year's trainers."
Oak handed me a Pokéball to catch Eevee and a Pokédex. Henry and Charles are given their starters and a Pokédex. He shoved us the door after we agreed to catch Pokémon for the League.
