Chapitre 247: The smell of conspiracy
Long Chen was walking in his Primal Chaos space, when thick Life Aura appeared. Long Chen was ecstatic and immediately ran to tell the girls. He busted into a room and shouted excitedly "He's alive!" the girls who lounged around all day with lifeless eyes suddenly became sharp and looked at Long Chen, who was almost happier than them.
Luna said "Who do you know?" her voice was hoarse and heart breaking to hear. Long Chen said "Don't worry about how I know. I just do! He's alive! Haha! He's alive! I fucking knew it!" Guo Ran, who was eavesdropping, suddenly ran away shouting "HE'S ALIVE!"
The Dragon Blood Warriors perked up and said "He's alive?" Guo Ran said "Boss said he's alive! So it must be true!" Xia Chen nodded sagely saying "The Boss is never wrong." the Dragon Blood Warriors erupted into wild cheers, along with the Starry River Sect people.
The entire Exquisite World was in celebration.
Luna looked up at the 7 colored sun and sat there for a while. The sun disappeared and the Golden Moon lit up the world, it seemed to be brighter than usual. Luna looked at the Moon and said with endless sadness "Where are you, my love..."
The moon seemed to drip tears as well.

Cross felt his heart twist in pain and he grimaced. Saya stopped and said "What's wrong?" Cross shook his head and said "Nothing. Continue to the Royal Capital." Saya nodded and they continued along.
Cross looked at the beads and counted 17 before making a symbol with his fingers, he soon became frustrated because he needed 2 hands to do it. He continued making the symbols one handed and soon started to sweat.
He put his hand down and Sora wiped the sweat from his head saying "What's wrong, papa?" Cross smiled and said "Nothing, Sora. Are you ready for today's story?" Sora beamed and nestled in his lap, covering herself with his Kimono and smiling cutely.
Cross smiled softly and started telling her a story.
Little did he know, his symbols worked.

In the Exquisite World
The Sun rose and the Moon stayed in the sky, they both spun around together, lighting up the world and sprinkling a rainbow light over everyone. Luna looked at the Rainbow light and smiled a little, she had a feeling in her heart that Cross was sending them a message.
She looked at the Moon covering part of the Sun to make a smile shape. She smiled as well, feeling the dark clouds in her heart clearing. She left the room and everything returned to peace once more, but everyone was more active than ever.
Long Chen said angrily "I have to go find him! What if he needs my help?!" the Dragon Guy said angrily "How many times do I have to tell you, he's fine! You need to focus on yourself now! If you're too weak, you're just going to hold him back!"
Long Chen was silent before saying "Alright. What do we do?" as he took out a bone, a root, and blood.

A few days later
Cross, Sora, and Saya finally entered the Royal Capital. There were absolutely no guards anywhere to be found. It seemed like anyone could just walk in and start a massacre. Cross frowned at the lack of guards and the trio continued into the Capital.
There were neat stone streets with luxurious wooden houses. Cross looked around and his frown got deeper and deeper at the relaxed, cheerful, even celebratory atmosphere. There were many races of Elves in the Capital.
Fire Elves, Earth Elves, Wind Elves, High Elves, Sun Elves, Winged Elves, Grey Elves, there were even Leprechauns, Dwarves, and Nymphs walking around. Cross looked at the Leprechauns and Dwarves, noticing that they weren't busy, idling around without a purpose.
His face was dark, there were also the occasional Butterfly Spirit, Flower Spirit, and even Fairies walking or flying about.
Sora had never seen so many different Elves in one place before and was in awe.
Everyone noticed Cross and avoided him like the plague, moving out of the way. The Butterfly and Flower Spirits ignored him, but frowned in his presence. Cross didn't see a single War Elf, Shadow Elf, Dark Sun Elf, or Ghost Elf.
He was getting angrier by the second, there was a smell of conspiracy in the air. Someone had gotten rid of all the Elves suited for battle, letting the peaceful Elves flourish. This wasn't a good thing. There was a traitor and he was in a high position.
Cross' eye flashed with a dark and deadly light, whoever it was should be prepared for death.
Saya pushed Cross along on the streets and a little boy threw a rock at Cross saying "You're a shame to the Elves! Go away, big bad guy!" Cross caught the rock and Saya glared at the kid, scaring the child.
Cross raised his hand and Saya stopped, he motioned to her and she pushed Cross to the child, who was terrified. Cross stopped right in front of him and looked down at the kid, who was fighting back tears, putting on a tough appearance.
Cross stretched out his hand and the kid closed his eyes, Cross patted him on the head and said with a smile "Next time, aim for my right side." as he put the rock back in the kid's hand and motioned for Saya to continue.
The kid was stunned and looked at the rock in his hand, confused. The rest of the Elves were confused as well. Cross ignored their confusion and continued along, going to an Inn to rest for the night.
He was watching people go by through the window, Saya walked into the room and looked at Cross' back as she said with a sigh "Your Highness is very wise." Cross didn't respond and Saya didn't mind, getting Sora ready for bed.
Cross watched the people pass by with a glint in his eye, he was 99% sure Brahma had a spy, or multiple spies in the Elven race. Thankfully, nobody here knew him. He didn't want to alert the enemy. If they knew who he was, they would surely notify Brahma or his subordinates. Maybe a Heavenly God would come for him, after he burst the Eye at the Saint King Convention, he saw a man glaring at him with one eye completely wasted.
Cross smirked at the thought, hehe I got crippled but I took an eye with me~ Against a Heavenly God while he was in the Immortal King Realm no less, maybe the first in history. He even left void flames in the socket, so it would burn forever unless he suppressed it.
Either way, he was never getting that eye back.
Just the thought made Cross want to laugh, sometimes he smiled in his dreams thinking about it. But this piece of news was truly grim. If Brahma had Heavenly Gods under him, then what about Brahma himself?
Cross felt his blood boiling at the thought of the rank above Heavenly God. When will he reach that level? He was excited and yawned, slowly falling asleep in his wheelchair. Saya took off his Kimono and Slipper before carrying him to bed and laying next to him.
His entire right shoulder was destroyed. His ball and socket joint, along with half of his scapula and clavicle, was gone. How he even survived was a mystery.
The next morning
Cross woke up, got dressed, and left the Inn, immediately behind surrounded by Elves in silver clothes. Cross pursed his lips and looked at these Elves. They didn't have swords, spears, or weapons. Not to mention Armor of any kind.
Cross smiled and said "Can I help you?" the Elf, who seemed to be the leader, said "You're under arrest for treason, blood drenched soul, and murder! Come quietly!" Cross tilted his head and said "Saya, take Sora into the Inner World please." he looked at Sora and smiled "You're going to play with Uncle Torus, okay?"
Sora smiled and clapped saying "Okay, papa!" Saya took Sora and disappeared.
Cross looked at the Elves and said "And if I don't want to come quietly?" the Leader said "You must! As decreed by Elven Law, you are not allowed to resist! If you break these rules, you shall be subjected to Divine Punishment by 'Mother' herself!"
Cross reached for the hilt of God Slayer as he said "Ouu~ Divine Punishment. I'm terrified." the Elf shouted angrily "Take your hand off that contraband! Immediately!" Cross said "No... I don't think I will." as his hand blurred.
The group of 18 suddenly became one and Cross held the sword tip at the leader's neck as he said "What clan are you from." the Leader turned white and said with a trembling tone "You! You! You! You're not an Elf! You're a Demon!"
Cross sighed and slapped him with the flat of the blade as he said "Answer me." the leader had half his teeth slapped out and said "Shilver Ehls Clan." Cross slapped him on the other side and asked calmly "Silver Elves? What's your position?" The man had no teeth anymore and said "Law Enforcement Captain."
Cross lifted his chin with the sword as he looked down at him from his wheelchair and said "Sure enough, things are far worse than I feared..." His eye shined and he read the man's memories. The guy wasn't a bad guy per se, he just stuck to the rules and was brainwashed by the higher ups.
Cross hummed and the corpses and blood disappeared, he sheathed God Slayer and said "You may go." The man quickly ran away in fear. Cross held God Slayer, leaning it on his shoulder and closed his eyes to calm himself as he got a massive headache.
Saya appeared and pushed the wheelchair again.
They continued roaming around the city, looking at all the people and observing the Elves and the overall situation. Cross held up his hand and said "Go into that alleyway." Saya did as she was told and they entered the alleyway, disappearing into the shadows.
Cross looked at the dirty and disgusting alley before looking at a door with an extremely muscular red skinned Fire Elf standing in front of it. Cross smirked and Saya pushed him to the Fire Elf, Cross looked up at the Fire Elf and grinned evilly as he said "Hello fellow, wanna hear a joke?"
A few minutes later
The door was kicked off it's hinges and Cross dragged in a bloody Fire Elf as Saya pushed the wheelchair. A bunch of different Elves, looked to them coldly. There were tables and female Elves dressed in barely any clothes with alcohol and gambling tables everywhere.
A Gold Elf with golden hair and a scar over his eye pulled a spear out and pointed at Cross saying coldly "Who are you." Cross threw the Fire Elf to the side and motioned to Saya, she pushed him forward as he said "Evening Gentlemen, I assume you've heard of the blood drenched Elf?"
He grabbed a crystal cup and drank the wine in it before spitting it out and saying "You drink this piss? Disgusting." the Gold Elf roared "I asked you a question!" as he thrusted the spear forward with obvious familiar movement.
Cross moved like lightning and pinched the spear between 2 fingers, stopping it dead in it's tracks. A gust of wind blew through the room and all the elves got serious, even the female Elves. Cross pushed the spear and the shaft pierced the Gold Elf's chest as he said "Relax, I have a deal for you all."
The Gold Elf coughed up blood and stumbled back into a table. The backdoor opened and a group of 8 different Elves walked out. There was a Fire Elf, a Silver Elf, a Moon Elf, a Sun Elf, a Metal Elf, a Winged Elf, an Earth Elf, and a Wood Elf.
The Fire Elf said "You alright, Goren?" the Gold Elf, named Goren, took out the spear shaft and said "Yeah." he looked at Cross and said "He showed mercy." the Earth Elf, who was a big guy with brown hair and naturally thick skin, laughed and said "A crippled showed you mercy? Goren, seems like you're not as sharp as you used to be."
Goren growled "Kick rocks, Dain." Dain sneered and the Fire Elf looked at Cross saying "Who are you?" Cross smiled and said "Isn't it proper etiquette to introduce yourselves first? I only know Goren, the spear guy, and Dain, the moron with thick skin."
Dain said coldly "Watch it, cripple. I'll take your other leg too!" Saya seethed "You dare to speak to his H-" Cross said softly "Saya." Saya shut her mouth and the Fire Elf looked at Saya with narrowed eyes before looking at Cross and saying "What do you want?"
Cross said with a smile "Without your names, I won't speak." one of the only 2 female elves, the Moon Elf, said coldly "You broke in, then demanded our names as if you own the place. Do you truly think we're afraid of you?!" she drew a bow and said coldly "Speak or I'll kill you!"
Cross spat "Shoot and you won't see the sun tomorrow. I promise you." his face lost his smile and his gaze was cold as ice, the Fire Elf put his hand out and pushed the bow down as he said "I'm Valrun. The Moon Elf is Lyndis, the Wood Elf is Falernas, the Metal Elf is Galaeron, the Winged Elf is Wyn, the Silver Elf is Adamar, and the Sun Elf is Helios."
Valrun added with a serious expression "I think we earned an explanation? I promise you if you're fooling around with me, I will kill you." Cross motioned to Saya, who stepped back. Cross wheeled forward by himself and looked at all the Elves, who were giving him cold looks.
He slowly wheeled to the bar and took out a gourd from his Inner World, poured himself a glass, before sending the gourd back. He swirled the wine around and said "When is the King going to be chosen?"
Valrun frowned and replied "6 days." Cross drained the glass and put in on a table before wheeling to the door as he said "You have 6 days. Get all your former guard/army brothers and sisters. We're going to commit Regicide." before being pushed out of the door by Saya.
