Chapitre 231: Little Disciple
The group took a flying invisible boat made by Guo Ran and flew out of the Vermillion Empire. Cross was sitting on the edge of the boat, dangling his legs off the boat as he looked out to the void they traveled through. Yu Qianxue grabbed him saying "What are you doing? If you fall and die, I'll have to go to hell to get revenge!"
Cross sighed and said "Silly girl, you haven't died yet, how could I possibly die?" Yu Qianxue grinded her teeth and shouted "FINE! I hope you fall off and die then!" before stomping away. Cross shook his head and sat inside the boat before closing his eyes.
The Dragon God Body Refining Technique focused on the outside and inside, yin and yang, visible and invisible. Which meant Cross had to create a new force from the two groups of 3. His Will was the last one to be tempered, and it was directly tempered by the strange force?
He couldn't be sure but he assumed that was the case. He started refining his body and a black and gold Yin Yang symbol spun in the ring on his back as his entire body erupted into black and gold flames. He felt so close but so far from something spectacular. It was extremely frustrating.
Suddenly, he stopped and leaned against the boat, closing his eyes.
He opened them and he appeared in a giant hall. He looked around and heard a choked sob "M-Master..." Cross smiled and turned around to see Ling Jie and Athena, Ling Jie was crying and Athena was staring at him happily... maybe a little too happy....
Cross said "Little Jie, how are you?" Ling Jie kneeled and said "Master, I.. I'm okay." truth was, he wasn't very happy here. He thought being a Sect master was cool at first then Cross left and everything just felt boring. There was no adventure, no learning, just constant teaching and watching people he could destroy with a single finger, argue over insignificant things.
Ling Jie really wanted to leave and go find Cross to go on adventures again, feeling as though he's seen through life at the top and found it to be truly lonely. Though he had a wife and kids and he loved them, his days were bland with every day being the same thing over and over.
Cross smiled and said "Think you've seen through life, little Jie? You want to come find me is it?" Ling Jie blushed feeling as though he's been seen through. Cross laughed and said "How is your family Little Jie?" Ling Jie replied "Good, Master. My son is pretty strong, actually today he's getting married."
Cross was stunned and said "Such a thing?" he squinted and said "What a coincidence..." Ling Jie 'haha'd and said quickly "Master, really I didn't call you here for this. I called you because I just didn't believe junior sister Athena.."
Cross looked at Athena and hummed, Athena said "Master, why are you wearing sunglasses?" Cross replied simply "If I take them off, your soul will explode looking at my eyes." Ling Jie and Athena's mouths were wide open, Cross chuckled and hooked his finger.
Athena's ring flew off her finger, the ring had switched to her left hand ring finger, something Cross didn't notice. He held the ring and muttered to himself, the ring flashed before floating back to Athena's finger.
Athena held out her hand as if someone was holding it, putting the finger on her rings finger. Cross ignored her actions, feeling this disciples of his was just a little strange. Cross waved and a golden token appeared in front of Ling Jie along with a gourd and a string with a multitude of rings on it with tags that had names on them.
Cross said "Little Jie, I'll give you a chance to come find me. The token will break space and bring you to a place called Lingxiao Academy, the gourd is something I made myself called Purity Dew, while the rings, well I'm sure I don't have to explain it. I will tell you this, I have no idea what it will do to you taking this. You might break through the Ancestral God Realm and ascend somewhere random, or stay here, or you might just explode and die. I haven't used that on anybody so weak before."
Ling Jie's face was on fire, being called weak by his master when he was the strongest person in this world besides Yun Che... So embarrassing... Cross looked at Athena and slowly floated over, he lifted her chin and looked into her eyes, Athena went into a daze and Cross watched her experiences.
He was pleasantly surprised, she lost her parents because of his inheritance but she blamed herself for being too weak instead of him. She took revenge on entire and slaughtered an entire Star of people in her rage.
He noticed she had even taken the wooden scythe he made the last time he saw her and made it into a necklace, continuing to use her sword. Her sword was very strange, it was jagged like a saw on one side and sharp and clean on the other.
Also, she had a strange clothing preference. Wearing no shoes, tight shorts, and bandages around her breasts with long black hair that flowed down her back like a waterfall. She was a very beautiful girl. Unexpectedly, her stomach wasn't flat and smooth, but she had abs and tanned skin.
Cross took his hand back and grabbed her hand pulling it up to his face, he sniffed and said with surprise "Amazoness?" Athena was stunned and mumbled "I do." Cross thought she was replying to his comment and said "Strange, very strange. I didn't know Amazons still existed... It's a pity your father was a normal human..."
He looked to be hesitating and Ling Jie stood next to Cross, looking over his should on his tip toes as he said "What's wrong, Master?" Cross was amused, this guy still acted the same after so many years. He said "I have purify her bloodline, but it will be extremely painful."
Athena woke up and said "Master, will I be stronger?" Cross tilted his head from side to side saying "4x and depending on how pure your bloodline is it will only be higher. Basically, I will wipe the human from your blood, leaving only your Amazon blood. This is only the first cleansing, if you want to get it to be even more pure, you'll have to continue refining your blood and finding treasures...."
His eyes flashed at the blood refining, having a crazy idea again. Athena said "If I can be more powerful, I will do anything!" she paused and added "Except give away my purity." Cross felt his mouth twitch and Ling Jie rubbed his forehead in dismay.
Cross said "Alright, lie down. You might as well take off your clothes since they'll be destroyed anyway." Ling Jie said "Master!" Cross looked at him and said "What?" Ling Jie sighed and shook his head saying "Never mind..." before leaving the room.
Athena laid down and took her clothes off, her chest was surprisingly large. Her entire body was tanned and her nipples were pink, her face blushed slightly and Cross put his hand on her stomach, muttering "I really picked up a treasure this time.... Only 47% Human... Ugh why ruin such a perfect bloodline."
He sighed and Athena floated in the air, Cross' eyes glowed behind the sunglasses and a pool of sparkling blood appeared, surrounding Athena's entire body, he slapped the pool image and the blood started boiling and glowing, Athena grit her teeth in pain, her eyes bulging out and veins throbbing on her body.
Cross whistled to himself and threw in a drop of golden crystalline liquid, the liquid sank into the blood and the entire pool turned gold before returning to normal. Cross took a gourd and pulled up Athena's head, pouring Purity Dew in her mouth. He gave her extra and sent her back into the pool, boiling it even more.
The pool caught fire and Athena started screaming in pain as blood flowed from her pores into the blood pool. Cross sneakily stole some Amazon blood, who knows how many bloodlines were in the pool at this point, there should be hundreds of thousands of them by now, Dragon, Kunpeng, Vermilion Bird, Phoenix, Xuanwu, White Tiger, His, Long Chen's.
Pfft, forget about it, there's even Long Aotian's Purple and Colorful blood in there! Well technically it's Long Chen's but still. There's countless Supreme Bloodlines in there, Cross was creating a monster pretty much. If her body wasn't as strong as his when they were the same strength, then he would consider it a failure.
This was also unimaginably painful, Cross felt like he was making soup though. It was fun, evidently her screams were falling on deaf ears... This guy was thinking about soup... Sigh.
A while later
The blood pool disappeared and Athena fell to the ground, Cross caught her and she opened her eyes saying weakly "Master... Did I make you proud?" Cross was startled, she was awake the whole time!? He REALLY picked up a treasure this time! Cross got excited and said "Oh yeah! Big time! You're my favorite disciple! Just don't tell Little Jie and Little Yueyue."
Athena giggled happily before passing out completely. Cross dressed his little disciple after cleaning her with a golden water bubble, and took her bandages and ring from her. His eyes glowed and countless threads, leaves, tendons, cloths, etc appeared. Cross forged new bandages, it was estimated that these bandages would never break.
He took out her sword from her ring and looked at it, it was a long sword but it was extremely heavy, he smirked and forged a new sword in the same style, using hers as a reference. Countless Ores, materials, claws, bones, etc. were thrown in.
The sword came into being and had countless runes flashing all over it, Cross slapped himself and said in shock "I made a fucking Realm weapon? Are you kidding?!" the black of the sword was pitch black, the jagged edge had sharp white points and in the middle of the blade there were golden runes in a straight line to the guard that was a white flower shape, the handle was black and the pommel was a white bead with a blackhole inside it.
The sword buzzed in happiness of existing. Cross grabbed it and said "I'm going to call you Bloodthirster. Athena is your new master, okay? She won't be able to use you for a while but when the time comes, you must help her." Bloodthirster buzzed in agreement and Cross held out a blood red sheath, Bloodthirster flew into the sheath and Cross put it in Athena's ring, behind another restriction.
Cross had refreshed all the restrictions and replaced some things, added some new things, and made the restrictions even harsher. He looked at Athena's sword and forged just a little bit of it, repairing the damage and making it stronger, but not by much.
He returned it to her ring and put the ring back, before wrapping her chest in the bandages he made. Something to note was her entire body was very attractive, her abs were visible and strong, but the rest of her body didn't look extremely muscular, she was toned and you could tell, but not to the point of looking like a body builder.
On a scale, she would be a 9, easy.
Cross poked her arm and made a small cut, golden blood flowed out. Cross almost jumped for joy. It was a success! Pure Amazon blood! He collected a bit then healed her up before laying her down again. He called Ling Jie and said happily "En. You need to make a choice, stay here or come find me. I'll warn you, the entire world will be an enemy in the future. Forget about being safe, you'll be fighting in all directions."
Ling Jie felt his blood boiling and he said "Master, just you wait! I'll come find you for sure!" Cross smiled and his finger glowed as he tapped Ling Jie's forehead, before giving him a black jade and saying "Give this to your Junior Sister Yueyue. See you when I see you, little Jie."
Ling Jie kneeled and said quickly "Of course! See you soon master!" Cross smiled and fizzled out of existence, Athena suddenly woke up and held her face with a deep blush saying "Kyaa~ Master, you're so big~" Ling Jie looked at her, completely speechless.
Athena apparently didn't care and hugged her shoulders saying "I hope he likes me." Ling Jie got up and knocked on her head saying "You girl, how many screws are loose in your head?" Athena said seriously "None. I'm going to marry Master. You might as well call me Mistress form now on." Ling Jie was stunned before rubbing his forehead, this Junior sister of his... Master's gonna have a big problem in the future...
