Chapitre 121: Soaked by the Melting Snow

"Good job, Agent Asta. You accomplished your mission."

Altin's words welcomed me. I could hear the satisfaction in his voice.

I wobbled. The cold air was where my breaths tumbled down, creating a thick fog as I panted heavily. Walking toward him, the creaking sound of the wooden boards I stepped onto was slightly wet by the light snow tonight. Altin smiled, receiving the envelope I brought.

My gaze then shifted to Anna who was standing by the lamppost nearby, silently watching Altin and me, rather cautious when I noticed both of her hands were inside the pocket of her coat, holding a weapon for protection as I could tell. 

The scenery of yellow glows reflected on the dark and calm water, catching my attention since I arrived. The port was so calm at midnight. It was quiet and I barely sighted anyone around. Seeing my weary eyes wandering about, Altin patted my head.
