"I didn't know you had a car," says Sabrina.
"Why can't I?" Replies David.
"Asks the one who strolls empty pocket and without a job."
"Ehmm... It's my dad's."
"Hmmm seemed old."
"What?! Are you serious?!"
"Why, yes? Is there something wrong with that?"
"It's a Cadillac! How can you say that?"
"God! It's just a name why are you getting paranoid? Well, Cadillac's a bit rusty." Sabrina says, moving her hands on the exterior. David laughs at her with disbelief.
"No wonder why I like that about you." David mumbles.
"What?" Sabrina asks, still observing the exterior.
"Remind me to never have a-car-talk with you. Let's get inside the car." David dives his head inside the car with his body behind. Sabrina follows him to the passenger seat and David roars the engine to ignition and feels proud to hear the sound and looks at Sabrina with a satisfying smirk while Sabrina shakes her head.
They drove through the small streets and it did not take long before they were rolling on the wide open road along the hills and heavy tree's. Sabrina turned on the radio and the station was playing a song that was once her favorite however she didn't hear it much now but right now she thought it was the best song. It was by Jason Mraz 'Love Someone'.
Sabrina turned up the volume and leaned back on the seat, watching outside the window as cold air strikes her face, making her hair fly in the air. She leaned towards the window with her face on her arms. She looked outside the window as heavy green trees and flowers decorated the road, giving the road a touch of sparkle. She inhaled the fresh air and let out a hand outside the window. She giggled as the cool air hit her palm. She spreads her fingers in order to catch the most of air, she feels her fingers getting numb out of the cold but she liked it anyway.
David pulls her hand back inside the car and notices they were almost freezing. He places her hand on his abdomen and rubs the back of it with one hand while he twists the steering wheel with other. David looks at her and she was looking at him with a slightly open mouth. He chuckles and Sabrina lowers her head with reddened cheeks.
Sabrina tries pulling her hand out of his grasp but David keeps a firm hold onto the back of her hand. He changes the gear, with her hand underneath his. She gives up on the struggle and bites her lower lip to avoid the sensation she was feeling from his touch. She looks outside the window again to avoid his stare while he keeps her hand in his firm hold.
David laces his fingers with hers and drives the rest of the trip with her hand in his.
