Chapitre 166: Visions and dreams (1)

A gust of wind blew past Destrian, leaving what felt like a dream in its wake. He knew he was wide awake and still on his horse but at the same time, the world around him seemed to change and he was in the forest before he knew it. He blinked a few times and was just about to leave the forest when a young woman came running and bumped right into him. He steadied her as his heart took off racing like a beast trying to bang its way out of a cage, and when he finally saw her face, he understood why. 

It was the woman from the forest, the one who he'd rescued from becoming the tiger's meal. His mate. 

She looked up at him and her lips curved into the loveliest smile he had ever seen. She was so beautiful.
