Chapitre 22: The Transition

Sanchit had touched the sore spot in Viraj's heart. He was well aware of the rationale behind their marriages. Even though both the marriages were based on more practical reasons, yet he truly believed it could bring happiness.

His own marriage was the best example of it. It had brought him happiness and good luck. His wife had adapted herself well to this new role. She became his friend and his supporter. There was an abundance of love and respect for each other.

His own experience and those of his forefathers and many others was proof enough for him to believe that this was the best method of finding a life partner. Then why could it not be the same in Myra's case?
