Chapitre 229: Destructive battle

Looking at the others around him, Jason grew certain of two facts.

One was that the others couldn't even remotely comprehend what was going on because their faces were ashen, fully tense. They felt as if a time bomb was ticking and the three beings' arbitrary attacks on the city would start any second owing to their evil and merciless nature.

The other fact was that Jason sensed Shane's dread, which he would have never expected, even if it was not something out of the ordinary.

Suddenly, three massive mana bursts reverberated through the whole city, shattering glasses, the fragments piercing into Jason and his small group who were the only humans left above the surface.

Luckily, they were safe within the protection field, and not subjected to the same fate as the rubble, stones, and trees that flew through the air as if they weighed lighter than a feather.
