After gaining fighting experience along the road, Adam and his team continues to be on their way to Pandora.
There are still 3 days or so to arrive and they will soon enter some town along the road.

" How can a zombie horde this big was coming to Pandora?! " Shouted a forty year old man with a short beard.
The man is the deputy base leader of Pandora, Albert Gregory who is an awakened tier 4 intermediate with his legacy of ' Master Swordman Calipto '.
Just an hour ago, a news was received from one of the scouts sent to the east part of northern region that a zombie tide is coming towards Pandora.
" The number this time is quiet big Deputy chief Albert. 200 thousand zombies are coming towards us! How can the base survive with our limited weapons?! " said one of the directors of the base.
" The ammunition and guns from the army provided for this month has not arrived yet and we are severely lacking of firepower. "
" That's right. With the phase of the zombie tide, they will arrive in four days! Our base only have 5 tier 4 awakened and it's not enough to solve this crisis! "
Several directors of the base also voiced their fears. Since the last months of the apocalypse, this will be the greatest crisis that their base is going to face.
" Send a request for back up from the army. What we can do is to delay time until rescue comes! " Albert said.
" But deputy chief, the message will only arrived at the army for at least 2 days. Even if the message reach them, the base will be overwhelmed by the zombie horde first before they come to rescue. " An old man named Grandpa Sam said to the younger deputy with his solemn look.
" Our base has 10,000 people and evacuating everyone towards another place us impossible to do. " Another old woman named Grandma El also said.
They are in a very tight situation right now, deciding the life and death of thousands of survivors.
" The fighting force of our base is only more than quarter of our population. Even if everyone goes out to fight, it's like only drop in the ocean. " Grandpa Sam said.
The zombie tide this time is the largest they had ever heard of. The base from the past month only experience 3 to 5 thousand zombie tide and was able to solve it immediately. But now...
" Let's call the base leader and let us hear her plans. " Deputy chief Albert can only sigh.
Right now, the chief is trying to breakthrough to the next level and is in the process of absorbing nucleus of higher tiered zombies. If not because of this big crisis, Albert would never dare to disrupt the chief but now he had no choice.

After hours of driving Adam and the others finally arrived at a town. The town is dilapidated and some areas even showed some signs of explosions.
This place was at the border of the Northern Region already and it shows some traces of fights. Maybe it was during the rescue operations of the survivors or during the reclaimation of the land by the army.
" This town was once a very prosperous town but now it become like this, dead and burned down. " Gil said to Adam as they are out of the cars. Before entering the town with their supplies, they decided to check first if there are anything dangerous inside.
Some bandits coming from Trojan had set some traps along the road in some areas of the other regions and they might experience those one.
Therefore, they are making sure that the town is safe.
Those bandits are unscrupulous in their methods. If they know that the supplies can't be taken by them they will resort to destroying it so that others can't make use of it.
That's just how selfish those criminals are.

" Hey Gerald! A convoy is coming. " a lookout with thin build and deeply sunken eyes said to a man filled with tattoo and a bald head.
" Hahaha! Is there any supplies from this group of bitches?! " Gerald said while laughing.
" Probably. They have a delivery truck with them so we should be able to harvest some. "
" hahaha! Well, let's watch as our guest recieves our little surprise for them. " Gerald said as they move to the third floor of a large house near the town entrance and looking out from a window.
" Don't worry Gerald. I had prepared those specially for these kind of lambs. My babies won't fail. " said another man with huge scars on his arm from getting burned.
" Heh! I hope you can give a nice show. "

" Summon [ Abyssal silver skeletons ] "
Adam directly summoned 20 skeletons to help them navigate the area.
Who knows if there are any danger and having extra measure is not a bad thing.
" Boss, the place looks very desolate. Not even a single zombie can be heard or seen. " Jackson said as he carry his machete.
" Is it just me? I feel that something is wrong here. " Anna said. Among the group she is the best in terms of tracking and scouting. A lot of instances when the team goes out from the past missions, Anna's intuition had played major role in their survival.
Therefore, when the group heard that Anna felt something was wrong, they become even more cautious.
" Stick together. There might be something here. " Said Gil.
Adam who listened on the side also become tense.
" Uncle skeletons, move forward. "
The skeletons entered the town in an orderly manner while in protective formation. As they move, they are also scanning the area for any possible threats to the [ lord ].
Then suddenly....

" Take cover!!!!! " Anna suddenly shouted while pushing the rest of her team away.
* Boo000ooooom!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "
A huge explosion happened blasting the group of skeletons in front scattering them in all directions with their conditions unknown.
The explosion was so strong that the people were thrown several meters due to the impact and some objects or debris are even sent flying.
Arthus even hugged Adam and immediately covered him with his body for protection while Jaya also retreated.
Everything was so sudden that everyone only have a few seconds to react from the explosion and it's too late for them to escape unscathed.
From where the explosion triggered, a huge crater was made indicating just how powerful the explosion was.
* Cough *

" * cough * Is everyone alright?!! " Gil shouted as he tried to compose himself.
" We're fine! * cough * "
" Fuck!!! "
" I'm okay deputy captain! "
" Noo!!! Anna! Anna!!! "
Then a cry suddenly disrupted everyone. Then they saw something that made their blood turns cold.
The shy and petite woman that they always see as one of the flowers of the group had her back badly wounded as she protected her friend Samantha from the explosion.
The injury is very serious that even bones can be seen on some areas.
They can't believe that one of their people is already barely clinging to life.
" Hisss~ Stop... crying Samantha. I'm .. not dead yet. " Anna said while in blood and tears.
" Idiot! idiot! You should be the one protecting yourself! Why do you need to use your fragile body to cover me! * sob * "
Adam on the side was staring blankly as his brain couldn't still take in the situation.

Adam is still healing Anna and the skeletons didn't stood up yet.
" Are you the one who did all this? " Adam said coldly as he focuses his gaze on Anna's poor face.
He just became a leader and something like this happened. Unforgivable!
They must die!
These people are scums. How could they do something so vile to their fellow human.
Morality..... is dead?
Then... they can only die.
Them living will only cause more pain.
These cold thoughts are swimming in Adam's head. From a pure and naive kid, he become exposed to such cruelty of humans. He..... cant accept it.
