"It's as if her memories have been erased. To put it another way, an external force has blocked her subconscious, allowing her to remain unaware of her memories. I'm sure Rubin was the one who did it to her, but why? Why would he harm his daughter in such a way?" Arthur was in dilemma too.

Vladis turned pensive while Rune was baffled.

What could be the reason?

"Is that why you asked her to accompany us? Do you have any plans?". Vladis interrogated him.

Arthur chuckled.

"Of course. I can see in her eyes. The pain and fear, hidden deep inside them. Her heart still fears the unknown. A feeling which feels so foreign yet so familiar. Makes you wonder if it's an illusion or reality."

"So you tried to elicit memories from her? But, considering your talent, you could have easily accomplished it, so why go to such lengths?" Rune had eventually grasped Arthur's strategy.

He chuckled at Arthur's deception.
