As soon as I was back I was bombarded with tales about grandmother riding the silver dragon and destroying the pirates that attacked Targaryen trade ships, a lot of pirates from the Stepstones are just gone
I thought that Rhaenys might be one to ride Lynix first but like always grandmother defies all expectations,now we have two Dragonriders instead of one and the way things are going three soon
More dragonriders are going to be huge help against the long night,while the thought of grandmother on Rhaenix battling the white walkers terrifies me but this is going to be the battle for survival and I can't let a dragonrider stay behind just because she is family
But all of that is way off the wall will hold for a while and I am not fool enough to take the dragons beyond the wall,the wall that has been protecting us for thousands of years has become thing that makes killing the Night King impossible to kill beyond the wall
The wall has basically became a dam for the other's magic, so even if I somehow ambush the fooker when he is alone with my three dragons and somehow kill him, the fooker would just reform after a few years or decades, will all that magic it is getting more and more dangerous for my dragons to fly beyond the wall
That's the reason the Night King won't attack the wall until he has enough numbers and he thinks he can just overwhelm us with the dead,that is also why I can't go and keep killing walkers and dead wights because reducing their numbers is less important that keeping the dragons on the living side of the war
If that fooker somehow got a dragon he won't wait he would just destroy the wall and start burning any castle he could find, because without our strong walls be can't defend against the long night, even just one undead dragon would turn the seven kingdoms into hell, while my dragons could get tired the undead one won't, then no one is safe no matter if you are in the northern keep or a castle in dorne,and with all the death and destruction his armies will only grow larger
But I will not let that happen,even though I don't like it I order Lynix and Rhaenix never to go towards the wall, even if somehow grandmother and Rhaenys want to go there,and if one of my children fall in battle Nightfury will make sure nothing remains of their body, even though my dragons deserve better to be burned by their own brother I can't be weak
Even though just thinking about this makes me want to just go there and kill that fooker, ram down my sword right through that icy bastard and completely burn him till nothing is left so nothing can harm my dragons, but that's what he wants,for me to get emotional and he can get his hands on a dragon
Thinking about this is not going to do anything,I have to be calm and slowly get things ready for the long night
Even though I took the capital for a few moons now I still don't have a official small council, I have many advisors who attend the small council meetings but only two official spots have been filled, Master of Ships and Master of Laws
Even the kingsgaurd still only have three members but at least the royal gaurds are filled and all of them are properly selected, I would like to select more kingsgaurd but Arthur just set the bar to high for others to actually have a chance
Maybe Sandor Clagane can be one but Arthur won't like this, Sandor is great warrior with a loud mouth I should take him, at least he will be contrast Arthur by not agreeing to everything I say
There are three more spots but I can't just select someone and hope they keep my family safe without knowing them,four should be enough for now
Now for the small council, Uncle Ned is acting hand for now but he is not cut out for this, Tyrion Lannister is better for that post but I can't have a lannister hand so soon after chopping Tywin's head off
For Master of Coin Willas Tyrell is a good fit,the tyrells handle enough gold to know what they are doing and Willas is not foolish enough to steal from the crown,if I cure his leg he can even be a good match for Sansa but that has to wait on how things between Robb and Margaery go
With Uncle Aemon here I won't have to worry about a Grand Maester for a while,and Stannis is doing great as the Master of Laws, and no alive can beat the spider and his little birds for Master of Whispers
I also intend to make a new post called Master of Trade, this person will make sure that trade across the seven kingdoms is properly conducted and facilitated,for every kingdom to develop properly trade with other kingdoms is a necessity
Even though north is strong it is not as developed as the other kingdoms,that's why I want Robb to marry Margaery an alliance with these two kingdoms would greatly benefit both of them
For this post I have selected Lord Wyman Manderly for this post, as a Northerner his will increase the trade between north and the rest of the kingdoms, and his cunning enough to properly hold this post and very loyal to Starks
But he is in his 60 namedays and with all that fat he won't see 70s,I can't have a lord on the small council to just get a new one after a few years, so I have to make a potion from the valyrian library which I never thought I would make, that potion will literally burn the fat off him for in a few days
He will be miserable for few weeks after talking the potion and would have to eat healthy after that but you can't have a seat at my small council without being worthy
