Chapitre 421: The First Break in Weeks

Just like in the past weeks, Zafik was trying to talk to Alanor even though there were so many warriors guarding the young Wynter. It was almost hard for them to see each other or even communicate. 

As much as Alanor was silent and didn't say anything through the weeks, he had to admit that hearing Zafik pestering him with dumb stories of what Udrad used to be and what it looked like before the senior Edison died, was a thrill. 

It kept him guessing, wondering what Udrad had been in, and frankly, that was one of the reasons Alanor was keeping himself sane all this while. 

He loved hearing Zafik's voice, because unexpectedly, the annoying lycan in the dungeon was somehow Alanor's reminder that he was in the real world and that he was captured. That was the last extent of his thoughts because Alanor didn't want to think of the fact that his mate had rejected him.
