"Have a good day everyone, dismissed!!" their king had said, and everyone who was watching the coronation, raised their glasses to toast to the king, before they walked out in silence.

Seeing king Unar up there and his first declaration had reminded the lycans of Udrad of a possible trigger that could burn down the kingdom. The man the king was against at the moment, was not just any man.

He was the beast of the midlands and needless to say, the lycans of Udrad had never once forgotten what happened whenever Alanor felt betrayed. They didn't know what to do, to make the young Wynter feel better. 

And the fact that he had let them drag him to the dungeons without even fighting back, was an alarm that even the lycans had seen wasn't going to end well. They had expected Alanor to cause a ruckus when he was rejected and even more when his mate threatened his family.
