"I heard you gave birth to twins, Zuhair," Ediso said as he walked through the Merdel doors into their banished space.

When he had gotten word on the birth of the Merdel twins, Edison was elated, to say the least, and it wasn't because he was glad the children were born, but only because he would finally confirm whether the children were the product of magic or not.

And the fact that he knew his father was no longer available to stop him, made him an even more unstable king. It was like he had turned on the switch to be the devil's playmate and best friend, and right now, as he looked at Zuhair, Edison knew he would have fun.

"Your highness—" Zuhair greeted, but then she didn't even manage to finish her sentence, because Edison grabbed one of her children from the couch and took him out to the sun.
