Most of their friends had expected it to be hard, but the two had proven themselves worthy of their bond more than once and maybe that was also why Ulrike had figured that he didn't have to stay in Udrad, looking after Alanor in the pretense of the damn festival anymore.

He had been worried about Alanor when they had parted ways, and given he was the one who had first met Alanor in the central forest, Ulrike was worried sick about the boy he had saved. He still wanted to know whether things would be alright with Alanor.
