"I—" Alanor began but instantly shut up, when Unar removed his princely robe, and then sat himself on the young Wynter's lap, so that they were facing each other, breathing each other in, and more than anything, they looked like a couple on their honeymoon.

"Trust me, my love," Unar whispered before smashing his lips on the young Wynter's, making Edison close his eyes and pretend to be unconscious again. Or maybe he didn't want Alanor to kick him in the nuts.

At first, Alanor was in shock, having not expected a kiss from Unar, and definitely not when he had just made the king into a man without arms, a king so useless and wouldn't be able to help his people with anything ever. 

This was so unexpected and Alanor knew if this was once again, just him dreaming about Unar or this was happening in real time. Everything was quiet, like it was just the two of them with each other.
