"Please... look at me," Unar pleaded again, this time, gently tugging his mate's shoulder, even though Unar was honestly scared for a moment there that Alanor would turn and hit him. He was worried that Alanor wouldn't want to see him again, given how angry the young Wynter was.

Unar was worried about a lot of things, probably that he shouldn't have even gotten worried about.

But then the crown prince getting hurt because of Alanor was impossible because Alanor would worship the roads Unar walked on before he even thought of causing his mate any harm. He loved this man to death, and loved every aspect of Unar. 

It was like Unar was his lifeline, even if he was crazy like he was right now.
