"Alright then, you wanna play? Let's balance the field then,'' Alanor said to Nymeriah who was staring at Alanor curiously.

She was aware that the Wynter kid had so many tricks up his sleeve, especially given that the young Wynter had lived with the warlocks for so many years; but maybe at the end of the day, Alanor was always going to be just a  kid, right? 

But then he was the kid mated to her son. That was a truth Nymeriah hadn't even had the chance to process, because of Edison and the damning barrier, but she hoped that once all of this was done she would. 

However, could she ever even get the chance after playing catch with the angry young Wynter anyway?

"First of all, good morning. I didn't greet you like we should greet our elders," Alanor said to Nymeriah as he blasted her right leg with a bomb of magic, and sent Nymeriah flying in the air from the blast.
