[THE MIDLANDS]
'Dammit,' Nymeriah cursed internally as she noticed the state she was in. She could see her sister watching her worriedly, while also asking silent questions about why Nymeriah had done this.
Of course, Criselda already knew why she did it, but no amount of preparation could have gotten the woman to this point. She hadn't expected that her sister of all the people would be the one in the bunker.
Then again, desperation did make people do stupid things for the people they loved. And right now, Nymeriah was one of the overly desperate people.
The magic in the barriers was killing Nymeriah slowly, and even Edison, but she needed to find a way to get her answers or get out of here altogether. She hated being trapped, because it made her feel like her magic was worthless.
Well, in this case, it really was and there was no denying it anyway.
Well, what can we say, a mother's desperation? I kinda feel bad for Nymeriah, but her siding with Eison could be fatal to both of them.
