"What brings you here?" Criselda asked coldly as she looked at the lycan prince. He looked so terrible, almost like he was fighting against everything possible. 

Unar was wounded, and he had refused to let his lycan heal him. It was almost like he wanted to feel the pain, because the physical pain was a distraction from the emotional pain he was currently going through, not to mention he was distressed about making a monster out of his mate. 

He was blaming himself and Criselda could see that. Her heart broke for him, but she had a son she needed to protect already. However, that didn't make it easy for Criselda to stand the sight of Unar. 

The vigilantes had also come, while Zelina and Ulrike were with the young Wynter, almost like they were waiting to hold him back from doing something the kid would regret, which lately was a lot and he needed to tone down on them.
