"Anyone home?" Alanor called out when he got into the house.
They were awfully quiet and it made him question almost everything they had done during the day. The house was never quiet, not when Nymeriah was with them, but she was deadly silent, which raised more questions for Alanor.
Either she had tried something and they had shut her up forcefully, or this was just their new normal. But would the young Wynter get used to this kind of normal?
It was already nightfall and with the chaos that had happened in the southern forest, Alanor knew they were worried or scared of their new reality but that was just a part of their life now.
They had once been normal humans, and now, they were just four vigilantes, with superpowers that got them into depressive episodes at times.
But what if he loses more people? I think Alanor wasn't prepared of the loss he would face potentially and that makes him feel suffocated
