Joe, the assistant librarian, had already gotten word to Ileus. They had been skeptical about the meeting, but this was something that had to be done, besides, it seemed like the kingdom would be run by Unar for the time being.

They had to take advantage of the distraction that Edison was facing at the moment, because when the king came back to his senses, no one knew what new rules he would be coming back with.

Ileus knew it wasn't going to be easy, but Unar needed him and he would show up. The only thing that he needed to do right now was hide his scent and make his way toward Leroy's house.

The two old men always had chats together, so it wouldn't be suspicious if they were seen together. Besides, Edison trusted both old men with his life. Maybe that's why Leroy and Ileus weren't exactly skeptical about the meeting.
