Chapitre 223: Back to Living

"Huh?

Not dead yet? 

Or is this afterlife?

What's happening......"

Zeph felt his thoughts swirling, but he was dead or so he believed. He couldn't comprehend why he was able to think at all. He tried to use his senses and as memories of the last battle once again played in his mind, he grew more and more confused. 

His memories were still intact, which could mean only one thing: he was still alive but the question is how? Then suddenly white light emerged like sunrise almost blinding his psyche. 

Zeph opened his eyes and found himself once again in that water where he had drowned earlier, but this time he was getting out of it instead of sinking. He confused, gazed upward to see somebody holding his hand and pulling him towards the surface of the water, although he couldn't observe him properly he was sure he had seen this boy somewhere before but was unable to recall where.
