He scurried out the door and she sighed. So much for her make out session. She should really get her own place one of these days. Things with Ryan were getting pretty serious; they should probably get an apartment of their own in the near future. Then incidents like this would stop happening.

Scarlett was annoyed but her ire melted away slightly when her Sierra asked her how the book signing went. She lit up with excitement.

"Ooh, it was wonderful! Nathan Grant was a lot funnier than I thought he would be. Didn't you say he seemed like the overly serious type? He kept people laughing all throughout the Q&A."
