Chapitre 150: My Wife

Shui Xian was rather in a good mood since the morning today because it happened to be Friday. For someone like him who had gotten accustomed to working all week long over the years, it was really a surprise when he realized he had been looking forward to the weekend. Unconsciously, he was eager for this week to end so that he could spend all day and night with his wife.

And since he was looking forward to something, it served as a motivation to work.

Suddenly, the door of his office was pushed open and he heard the tic-toc of high heels as Ruan Meilin strode inside with an anxious look on her face. She tried to calm herself as she faced Shui Xian and asked, "Shui Xian, where is your phone?"

Shui Xian pointed at the phone that was placed on the desk but was forgotten since this morning. 

"Earlier, I gave you a call but a woman answered the phone," said Ruan Meilin as her eyes continued to observe Shui Xian's expression.
