Chapitre 12: Illness
Kit's POV
I was back in Sina and I entered the interrogation room with the girl Hacker and I was caught. This interrogation was private so no one was in the opposite room but everything was still recording.
"Let's start." I said in Japanese
I took a seat and dropped the paper files in front of her.
"If you lie then I can detect it so don't attempt to lie." I said, "I'm not going to ask about your relationship but I'm going to ask why were you there?"
The girl's name is Tia, apparently Tia's still a high school senior while Tomo, the IMT, an adult who has a big dick and can be the star of a porn movie.
'Pedophile.'
"We saw this place here in China and we thought it was a nice place since it's remote. Apparently a lot of couples go-"
"Whoa whoa whoa, don't call yourself a couple if this is some cheating shit." I interrupted
Tia looked worried but she just nodded.
"We found this place here and a lot of people go there to have sex since it's remote. It has a good rating as well." continued Tia
'So it's true, they had a resort like a love hotel just so they can have their own fun.'
"I swear we didn't do anything bad, we used protection." said Tia
My eyes twitched.
"Why the hell are you telling me that?" I asked
Tia looked confused.
"I thought you were sent by my boyfriend." said Tia
I was confused but then someone pat my shoulder and when I turned around Riku was standing there. Tia jumped back in fear but from the look of Riku's face, she was pissed.
"Riku what are you doing in here? Everything's being recorded." I said in English
"Don't worry I got that covered." came Hacker's voice over the loudspeaker.
Riku was about to hurt Tia but I stopped her.
"Riku I got this under control." I said
"No I know this girl." said Riku
"Huh?" I questioned
"She's my cousin's girlfriend." she snapped
'So she's technically my relative?'
My eyes twitched again.
"You're joking." I whispered
"Why would I lie." she said
I didn't mean it literally but I nodded and let her go.
"Tia, were there any conditions you and your boyfriend made?" asked Riku in Japanese
She nodded.
"What were they?" asked Riku
"No sex-"
"No sex? What the fuck?" I mumbled under my breath
"Uhh, no kissing and wearing a condom when giving him a blowjob." she continued
That's when Riku punched Tia and she fell to the ground.
"Riku!" I shouted
"And you fucking break all of them?" she growled
Riku grabbed Tia's hair and forced her back onto the chair. Tia was scared, trying to resist as her blood leaked out of her cut lip.
"Does your boyfriend know?" asked Riku
"No he doesn't." cried Tia
"Riku please let's calm down, I know that you're pissed but this isn't right." I said
Riku sighed and rubbed her knuckles.
"Sorry I lost my temper." she said
She became invisible and I sat on the chair again.
"Sorry, we'll treat that later but right now we're going to ask you a few things." I said, "How did you find that place on the internet?"
"I just searched it up." she whispered in fear
"And it was a hookup, did you know that the man was a terrorist?" I asked
"No he said he was a cop that's why he had his gun to the side." she replied
I looked at her and saw that she was trembling.
"Do you know anyone who also came here?" I asked
"A friend of mine came here with me but she went to the hotel while I paid a bit more." replied Tia
"What was her name?" I asked
"Rui." replied Aiko
I looked through my hologram watch and saw that she was one of the civilians extracted from one of the same houses like the one Tia was in.
"She's alive." I said
"What do you mean alive?" she asked
I showed her some of the pictures we took of the dead bodies and showed her. She gasped and covered her mouth and she started crying.
"If you stayed there any longer you would have been dead." I said
I turned off my hologram watch and closed the file.
"We'll be sending you home." I said, "But I have some advice for you."
She looked at me and I sighed.
"Break up with your boyfriend and find someone who you truly love." I said
And with that I got up and led her to a Spartan ready to transport all the remaining survivors.
"Remember, it's better to not talk about what happened today." I said
She nodded and boarded the Spartan.
'God I hate dealing with relationship things. I wish Colonel was here so he could have dealt with it.'
I left and headed back to the briefing room where the team was planning the next strike.
"This is an abandoned facility, recently we've picked up activity but we didn't have clearance to do anything until now. Bell confirmed our suspicion and we found out that the people in this facility are producing titan serum. But the flaw is that their titan serum is the old version where only Eldians get turned into titans." said Marksman
I took a seat next to Hacker and began to listen.
"Why would they want to only produce the old one?" asked Juggernaut
"Probably either cause they don't know how to or their main focus of attack is Eldia." replied Bomber
"Precisely, but whatever the reason is we're laying waste to that facility." said Marksman
Ghost's POV
"You have a mental illness." said the doctor
I looked at him and Emily looked really worried.
"It's not really an actual illness but looking from the results of your emotions, you have a lot of suicidal thoughts. You also have PTSD from time to time with depression." said the doctor, "But your depression isn't as severe thanks to your wife but other than that it's pretty severe. Would you like some treatment?"
"No, I'll be fine, I've known about those." I replied
"You've known?" asked Emily
"I came to check it up, the good thing is my depression back then was worse." I replied
Emily sighed and looked sad.
"That's it for today, come back if you want some treatment." said the doctor
I nodded and left with Emily, we entered the car and Emily started crying.
"Am I useless?" she asked
I felt bad so I hugged her head.
"Emily, don't worry, you're helping a lot." I whispered
"I really hope I am." she sobbed
"You are, I just need time and your help." I replied
"I didn't think you'll turn out this way." she cried
"Neither did I." I replied
She kept sobbing into my chest and she clenched onto my shirt.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry." she said
"Why are you apologizing?" I asked
"For not being there for you when you were younger." she replied
"It's okay, it's okay." I whispered
I hugged her head and she continued sobbing.
"How are you feeling now?" she asked
"I'm fine, don't worry you'll be helping me a lot." I said
She pulled away and wiped her tears away and she grabbed my wrist and checked the scars on the wrist.
"I wish there will be no more." she whispered
"There won't be another one." I said
"Promise me, even if I die." she said
I was taken aback from that statement.
"Why would you say that?" I asked
"Just promise me." she said
She looked at me with teary eyes.
"My time may come early but yours won't, so please live long." she begged me, "You were able to do that."
I felt my heart slow down and I could feel myself falling into darkness.
"Your children will need you." she said
I didn't know how to respond, I know that my children would need me but I need her in order to control my children.
"I will, I promise." I whispered, "Are the kids ready?"
"Yes, I told Annie. Ellie's going with them." she replied
"Okay, let's go and talk about this back at home." I said

2 hours later
Jean's POV
I knew things were going down the drain when Eren proposed an attack on China's soil. Eren wasn't the same, we've been knowing he wasn't the same but for some reason, for some reason, Armin still believes that Eren's just tired or something.
"Armin listen to me, Eren's not the same." I said
"But this is Eren we're talking about, Eren wanted to destroy the titans because of what they've done. He's just doing the same but with other countries." said Armin
"Armin, this is going to lead us into killing multiple innocent civilians." I said
Armin stayed quiet for a few seconds.
"But Eren's not like that, he's not the type of person to kill innocent-"
"Armin for the love of god look at Eren!" yelled Connie
Armin looked at the screen where Eren was just sitting on a table all by himself.
"I don't know, if only Commander Erwin was here..." whispered Armin, "He would know what to do."
I rubbed my eyes and took a deep breath in and let it all out.
"So what?" I asked
"For now, we'll continue watching." said Armin
I grabbed my gun and left the room with Connie and I was honestly dumbfounded by how gullible Armin could be.
"Well there's a lot of shit we're going into." sighed Connie
"We are, but that's what we do, just like what Colonel said." I replied
"But Colonel knows what kind of shit to go into and I know this is the wrong decision." said Connie
"Who knows, no one thinks like him." I said
Connie nodded and we got up to the platform.
"Let's just get this over with, we're getting a 3 week leave after." I said
"Can't wait." smiled Connie
We got on board the osprey and Eren came in after us.
"We're all on board, we're good to go." said Levi

2 hours later
"Chinese fucking military." sighed Levi
I groaned when I saw a platoon of Chinese soldiers get off the trucks to help the IMTs.
"There's innocent civilians around." I said
I looked through my binoculars and there were kids, it looked like a school trip.
"You must be joking." said Porco
"So what now?" I asked
"We leave, we're not executing this mission." said Levi
"No, we push forward." said Eren
We all looked at him as if he was crazy.
"They're using children as a shield." he continued, "We go through the shield."
He put on an invisibility cloak and left.
"As long as the kids don't die, then we're fine? Is that what he just meant?" I asked
I sighed and put on my ODM gear since it was a pretty big facility. We turned invisible and zipped to the roof of the main facility but then Eren shifted creating a huge explosion behind us and in front of the school. Eren roared into the sky and stood behind us as the Scouts were on the roofs, looking down at the IMTs and the Chinese soldiers.
Eren began rampaging, killing every soldier there was on the ground. I didn't think Eren needed our help at all but I felt terrible for what the kids had to see. I looked behind me and saw a few kids running away but Ghost team and Badger team came out to rescue the civilians.
"Let Eren have this one." said Levi
"Are you sure about that sir?" asked Bertholdt
"I'm sure." said Levi
I didn't like the idea that Eren's killing every single soldier out there. Even though they were the bad guys, some of them probably don't even know what they've got themselves into.
"How are we going to hide this?" asked Connie
Levi stayed quiet so I assumed that he was probably thinking of something.
"Eren's stressing about something, let him relieve that." said Floch
I turned to look at him and sighed.
"Why are you siding with him?" I asked
"Because I agree with his reasoning." he replied
"To destroy the world?" I asked
"No, to kill everyone who tries to threaten Eldia." replied Floch
