Chapitre 40: Chapter 40 Forbidden

"But... what does Abbadon have to do with all this?" I then asked, staring at him with a hint of curiosity.

He slowly lowered his gaze on the floor, looking obviously conflicted as he quietly answered,

"She... thinks of you as a threat... So, this means she would team up with anyone that wants to hurt you."

"But why... why would she consider me a threat?" I then asked, watching how he slowly raised his gaze back on me, his deep blue irises now swirling with a burning emotion as he quietly replied.

"She... suspects that I... have?feelings?towards you..."

As soon as those words escaped his plump lips, my cheeks reddened, quickly lowering my gaze on my lap as I found myself momentarily lost for words, quietly mumbling.

"Oh..."

Obviously feeling too damn embarrassed to ask anything else about that I quickly changed the topic, asking that one question that kept bugging me from a while now.

"Um... did you guys like, date... or something?"
